Samsung and Meritz Plan SPAC for May, Blog Reports

Brokerage house Meritz Securities and consultancy A.T. Kearny Korea are planning to jointly list a SPAC in Korea in May, reported the blog Invest Korea SMEs.
Samsung Securities, another Korean brokerage, will manage and invest in the initial public offering. The SPAC is planning to raise KRW 30 billion ($21 million). It plans to acquire companies working on new technologies.
Invest Korea SMEs is also reporting that both Woori Investment Securities and Shinhan Investment are planning to list SPACs in April.
